The Dorchester, first introduced into our range in 2015 set new standards in compact modern motorhome design. Thanks to a programme of continual enhancement today we can offer even greater levels of practical luxury, with up to date stylish LED lighting in both the living and roof areas, increased storage and added kitchen cutlery drawer for those all important everyday necessities, accommodation for a portable toilet, easy leisure battery access, and  dual USB charging points for mobile phones or tablets. This, along with our acclaimed Purbeck conversion, is the ultimate Toyota Alphard motorhome.

PASSENGER SAFETY

We have chosen for our Dorchester conversion rock & roll seating complete with two 3 point seat belts and integral head rests which quickly and easily folds down to form a perfectly flat luxurious double bed, without the usual struggling and straining thanks to it’s improved mechanism.

Neither comfort when lounging and sleeping nor safety and security on the road have to be compromised in the Dorchester. As you would expect on any modern luxury vehicle, all Toyota Alphards are fitted with a host of other safety features such as airbags, ABS braking systems, parking sensors and some even with lane assist systems.

CORDON BLEU CUISINE

The elegant high gloss units and glistening worktops are complemented by the burnished stainless steel hob and sink especially chosen for their practical size, something often overlooked in more compact campervans. The flush fitting smoked-glass lids supplement the worktop, while a multi position removable table extends even further the useable surface areas. Kitchen facilities are completed by tough easy to clean laminate flooring, an on board 10 litre fresh water tank with electric pump, removable for easy filling, a sizeable 45 litre Dometic CRX fridge complete with full width 4.4 litre freezer compartment, which, cleverly, can simply be pulled out to make room for more fridge space, and capacious cupboards with sleek tambour door, making access possible even at night.

A leisure battery provides on site power for the refrigerator, lights and other 12 volt accessories when there is no mains hook up. Both 12v and 240v power is managed automatically, with no complicated switches, and, safety once again, an RCD and trip switches - luxuries that would not disgrace a far larger campervan.

AND SO TO BED

Front seats, swivelling on the passenger side, are a perfect match with the two-tone  Alcantara upholstered rock and roll rear double seat while further storage is to be found beneath the rear seat.

LED lighting sets the atmosphere for the evening once the sun has gone down. Effortlessly fold down the seat to form a perfectly flat double bed and even with the bed extended there is room for a Porta-Potti - everything for a perfect nights sleep. Opt for the gas-assisted rising roof for extra headroom and children can be accommodated too. Optional tailor made silver window screens add privacy and security. Come the morning, with a simple, easy pull the bed returns to a comfortable double seat.
