‘THE ICONIC CAMPERVAN BROUGHT UP TO DATE’
The entry level Solent reflects the traditional campervan of the swinging sixties, but with a degree of luxury undreamt of in those times.
The side facing kitchen unit contains the highest quality fittings including a ‘SMEV’ two burner hob with piezo ignition and sink with electrically pumped water. Both appliances boast flush fitting smoked glass lids doubling up as work surfaces when not in use. Cupboards underneath and an island leg table complete the essentials list. Power is supplied by mains hook up which provides 240v electric to twin 13 amp stainless steel sockets.
The Solent retains the original Mazda forward facing rear seat with threepoint seat belts providing maximum floor space without compromising passenger safety.
UPSTAIRS DOWNSTAIRS
The unique electric rising roof opens up for daytime standing room, then cleverly turns into nightime accommodation. Even tall adults might elect to stretch out in the 7ft long bed! Alternatively, downstairs the midships position of the kitchen affords sleeping partners the luxury to not rub shoulders (but possibly to play footsie instead), the easily reclined seat and bed extension providing a cosy double. So stretch your wings after your daytime exertions, then relax once the children are despatched to their roof nest.
All models boast inbuilt window blinds, most being electric which operate at the flick of a switch, ensuring instant privacy when you need it. A Port Potti toilet and housing is available as an option.
THE BOTTOM LINE
Entry level could scarcely come any cheaper. You can be a happy camper in a Solent from a mere £8995 on the road!

Important Points
The original seat retained in the conversion can be re-upholstered so that when it is folded down to make the bed it gives a comfortable flat sleeping surface. Therefore, because we are using the original mounts & mechanisms, the seat is as safe to travel in as when the car came out of the factory. Furthermore, we use the original seat belts & mounting points. There are two 3-point diagonal seat belts & a lap belt in the middle, so up to 5 people can be carried in comfort. Child seats & booster seats can still be fitted with ease.
